OSDH sees 310 new COVID-19 cases Monday

The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 310 new COVID-19 cases for Monday. Oklahoma has seen 432,793 COVID-19 cases overall as 11,865 cases are active.

The provisional CDC death toll’s at 7,486 while confirmed deaths for Oklahoma is at 4,701.

Kay County has eight new COVID-19 cases for Monday, putting the county at 5,134 COVID-19 cases, 83 deaths and 4,913 recoveries. Data for local communities is posted below:

Ponca City – 3,753 cases/47 deaths/3,609 recoveries

Blackwell – 658 cases/19 deaths/613 recoveries

Newkirk – 430 cases/3 death/412 recoveries

Tonkawa – 358 cases/15 deaths/338 recoveries

Kaw City – 62 cases/1 death/61 recoveries

Braman – 22 cases/1 death/20 recoveries

 

As for new COVID-19 cases in local counties, there are eight for Washington, six for Osage, four for Payne and two for Logan. There are no new COVID-19 cases for Garfield, Pawnee, Noble and Grant counties. Data for local counties is posted below:

Oklahoma saw 375 new recoveries for Monday, putting the state’s recovery total to 416,227. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report. See complete data at coronavirus.health.ok.gov.

As of Friday, March 12, there have been 1,159,199 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered in Oklahoma and that there are 413,702 completed series. The number of prime doses given is 745,497. There have also been 734,995 prime doses allocated and 621,975 boost doses allocated. Vaccination numbers will be updated Friday, March 19.
