OKLAHOMA CITY –Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics agents served a search warrant early Friday at a northwest Oklahoma City restaurant that authorities have previously raided.

Just after midnight, OBN says the agency’s Marijuana Enforcement Teams and Human Trafficking Unit entered the Lucky Zhang Seafood Restaurant, located along Northwest 23rd Street between Western Avenue and Classen Boulevard, with an active search warrant.

The restaurant was also the site of a previous raid in 2023. At that time, authorities alleged the business was serving drugs and alcoholic beverages after 2 a.m.

“This investigation includes black-market marijuana trafficking from grow operations around the state linked to people associated with the Lucky Zhang restaurant,” OBN Public Information Officer Mark Woodward said. “We are also investigating ties to other elements of organized crime, including human trafficking and money laundering.”

During the search, OBN says agents reported finding trafficking amounts of methamphetamine, ketamine and ecstasy, and seized a firearm. Officials said U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement took 16 people into custody, but additional arrests are expected as the investigation continues.

OBN also said certified victim service providers were at the scene to interview potential victims of human trafficking. Multiple agencies assisted in the operation, including the Oklahoma City Police Department, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the FBI.
