On Tuesday evening, PCPD Officers responded to the Robin Hood Flour Mill in downtown Ponca City after receiving reports of multiple people throwing items off of the top of the flour mill. Officers took 18-year-old Cooper Holloway and 19-year-old Camden Tate into custody at that time for trespassing when they were caught inside the facility.
Since August 27, PCPD Officers have taken five reports of damaged property in the area immediately surrounding the Robin Hood Flour Mill. During these investigations it was determined numerous subjects had thrown items off of the roof of the flour mill, causing damage to multiple vehicles and a building in the area. As PCPD Detectives continued their investigation into Holloway and Tate, both subjects were subsequently charged with 2nd Degree Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, and Destruction of Private Property.
We’d like to thank the Kay County Sheriff’s office and the Newkirk Fire Department for their assistance and drone support at the flour mill on Tuesday evening.
PCPD Detectives are continuing to investigate these incidents and multiple other charges and arrests are expected in the coming days.
