The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a Winter

Weather Advisory… which is in effect until 6 am CST Sunday. The

Ice Storm Warning has been cancelled.

* Main impact: light freezing rain or freezing drizzle will

gradually change to light sleet and snow later this evening.

Only light additional accumulations of ice and snow are expected

tonight.

* Other impacts: although only light additional accumulations of

ice are expected… mainly trees and power lines remain ice laden

from heavier precipitation Friday night and Saturday morning.

Roads… especially bridges and overpasses… could become slick

and hazardous overnight as water on roadways refreezes.

Precautionary/preparedness actions…

Do not travel in icy conditions. Be sure you can take care of yourself and your family if you lose electrical power. Watch out for falling trees… limbs and power lines.
