OHP Trooper Helps Missouri Deputy Make Arrest While Returning Home From Vacation

A state trooper helped a deputy in another state make an arrest while coming home from vacation.

About two weeks ago, Trooper Chris Herd and his wife were on I-44 between Joplin and Springfield.

Herd saw that traffic had slowed in the opposite lanes and he saw a deputy wrestling with a suspect.

The trooper turned around and helped arrest the man.
