Woodlands Elementary students evacuated Wednesday morning due to a fire alarm

Students at Woodlands Elementary were evacuated on Wednesday morning due to a fire alarm. The Ponca City Fire Department and Ponca City Police Department responded. A bad sensor caused the alarm. All students later returned to class and the building was clear. The students and staff evacuated the building in record time, so Ponca City Public Schools stated that fire drills held during the school year really do pay off!
