OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KOKH) — The Oklahoma City community came together for the 26th annual Run to Remember Marathon, honoring the 168 lives lost in the April 19, 1995, Oklahoma City bombing.

Oklahoma City marks the 26th Annual Run to Remember with a record 30,000 participants.
At least 30,000 runners from all 50 states and 15 different countries traveled to Oklahoma City to participate in the marathon, which celebrates the memory of the lives lost in the bombing and the ones who survived.
Runners passed 168 banners bearing the names of the 168 lives lost, and began the race with 168 seconds of silence.
Runners and walkers took part in the Marathon, Half-Marathon, Quarter Marathon, 5K, Kids Marathon, and Senior Marathon.
This year’s champion is Steven Baker from Tulsa with a time of 2:23:18.

- Quarter Marathon Women’s Champion: Mariela Rodas, 43:19
Steven Scalzo was named the Hand Crank Wheelchair Winner of the marathon and is now an eight-time champion of the run. This is Scalzo’s fourth year in a row to win the title of champion.
