Kay Electric warning of phone scam

Kay Electric Cooperative was notified that one of their sister cooperatives had a few calls from members about a phone scam going around, claiming that the cooperative will be disconnecting their power if they don’t pay within the next 30 minutes. Please know that is NOT how Co-ops do business. If you receive a phone call like this, please hang up on the caller and call Kay Electric at 800-535-1079.
