NEW YORK (CNN/CNN Newsource/WKRC) – Bed Bath & Beyond is offering a $100,000 home transformation package to the individual who can find the oldest surviving Bed Bath & Beyond coupon.
Bed Bath & Beyond is inviting customers to search through old drawers, attics and wallets for a chance to win a major prize in a new nationwide contest centered on the retailer’s iconic coupons.
The company announced its “Legendary Coupon Hunt,” giving customers from Monday through July 13 the opportunity to locate and submit what they believe may be the oldest surviving Bed Bath & Beyond coupon.
The winner of the contest will receive a $100,000 home transformation package, according to the company. Additional prizes include Bed Bath & Beyond gift cards.
As part of the promotion, the retailer is also allowing customers to redeem expired Bed Bath & Beyond coupons of any date during the contest period at select participating locations.
The campaign revives one of the brand’s most recognizable marketing tools as Bed Bath & Beyond continues its retail comeback.
Bed Bath & Beyond closed its remaining stores in 2023 after filing for bankruptcy. The brand was later acquired by Overstock, which subsequently rebranded itself as Beyond Inc. The company has since returned to physical retail through locations co-branded with The Container Store.
