Midwest City, OKLA –Jaselyn Rossman, competing as Miss Tulsa State Fair, was crowned Miss Oklahoma 2026 on Saturday, June 13, at Rose State College in Midwest City.

Rossman earned the title after a week of competition featuring contestants from across Oklahoma. The Miss Oklahoma 2026 competition was hosted by Megan Gold, News 9 meteorologist and Miss Oklahoma 2022. Rossman succeeds Miss Oklahoma 2025 Tessa Dorrell and will spend the next year serving as the state’s official representative for the Miss Oklahoma Organization.

New Miss Oklahoma begins year of service

As Miss Oklahoma 2026, Rossman will represent the organization at events throughout the state while promoting leadership, education and community service initiatives.

The titleholder also serves as Oklahoma’s representative within the Miss America system and participates in outreach efforts designed to connect with students and communities across the state.

New partnership expands statewide outreach

One of the major announcements during the 2026 Miss Oklahoma competition was a new multi-year partnership between the Miss Oklahoma Organization and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics.

Under the partnership, each Miss Oklahoma titleholder will complete specialized training through the bureau and be certified to present an official drug and alcohol avoidance program to schools, community groups and organizations across Oklahoma.

The initiative aims to expand student outreach and provide young people with information about making informed and healthy decisions.

The partnership grew out of the organization’s relationship with Miss Oklahoma 2024 Lauren Frost-Perry, who works for the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics.

Competition returns to Midwest City

The Miss Oklahoma competition was held June 8-13 at the Rose State Performing Arts Center in Midwest City.

The event marked the second consecutive year the pageant has been held in the Oklahoma City metro area after spending decades in Tulsa. Organizers have continued efforts to modernize the competition while expanding leadership and scholarship opportunities for contestants.

Looking ahead

Rossman now begins a year of appearances, community outreach and advocacy work before crowning her successor in 2027.

As Miss Oklahoma 2026, she will travel across the state representing the organization while promoting scholarship opportunities, leadership development and the newly announced partnership with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics.
