Oklahoma PIKEPASS customers can now use their existing transponders on participating E-ZPass toll roads in several states, expanding where Oklahoma drivers can travel without needing another toll transponder.
The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority said the change is part of a phased interoperability rollout involving toll systems outside Oklahoma.
According to OTA, PIKEPASS is now accepted on participating toll roads operated by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, Massachusetts Department of Transportation, North Carolina Turnpike Authority, Illinois State Toll Highway Authority, Indiana Toll Road Concession Company and Skyway Concession Company.
The expansion includes participating E-ZPass toll roads in select states.
The interoperability rollout allows PIKEPASS customers to continue using their existing PIKEPASS transponder when traveling on participating toll roads.
OTA described the expansion as a phased rollout, meaning PIKEPASS acceptance is not necessarily available across every E-ZPass road or state.
