Choctaw Nation celebrates health care students

DURANT, Okla. (AP) – The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma is celebrating the first students to graduate from a health care residency program.

The three students were honored Monday at the Choctaw Casino and Resort Conference Center in Durant.

They are the first students to complete the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Health Service Authority Talihina Residency Program, which was started three years ago through a federal grant.
