Bristow woman dies in accident

A 20-year-old Bristow woman died after an accident about 5:30 a.m. Sunday on State Highway 66, a tenth of a mile north of County Road 201st Street South, 3.5 miles north of Bristow.

Emily E. Barrera died of massive injuries. Her body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Tulsa.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Barrera was ejected an unknown distance from the 2004 Jeep Liberty she had been driving. The investigation is continuing.
