Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt

Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt will visit Marietta after an EF-4 tornado left one person and ripped through the town’s local hospital.

The Mercy Love County Hospital took a hit from storms Saturday night, but luckily, staff inside worked quickly to move patients to safety before the storm hit.

No one inside the building was hurt, but now Gov. Stitt and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA, will visit the area to survey the scope of the damage.

The hospital said they are also getting a plan together for how to care for the community moving forward.
