Due to COVID-19, Po-Hi ‘Schedule Pick-Up’ activities are being provided online and in-person, when appropriate.

Detailed instructions for each activity are below.

Po-Hi Back to School Information

PowerSchool parent portal: Online

Please try to log in to the PowerSchool parent portal. Link to the website is provided below.

If you have forgotten your password or need assistance please call 767-9500 (ext.2). You may be asked to provide some identifying information, such as your child’s birthdate, to confirm your identity.

Registration – Online or In-Person

Online: Parents of returning Po-Hi students who have not registered should log into the PowerSchool parent portal and complete registration. This must be done on a computer.

In-Person: Students who are new to Po-Hi should register through the Ponca City Public School district registration process. Make-up registration days will be August 6, 10, and 11 at 111 W. Grand.

Student class schedules: Online

Student schedules will be viewable in the student and parent portal of PowerSchool on August 12, 2020. If you need assistance please call 767-9500.

Po-Hi staff will be in hallways to assist new students and freshmen in finding classes on the first day of school.

Freshmen will also participate in orientation on the first day of school.

● Enrolled in Concurrent courses
● Extracurricular conflicts

Homeroom Information

Students will have a ‘Homeroom’ listed on their schedules. This is the classroom they will report to for lunch time.

Homeroom is after fourth period each day.

This will occur only during Covid-19 restrictions, as access to large gathering areas such as the commons will be limited.

Ponca City High School is a closed campus. Parents may call the attendance office to check out his/her student from school 580-767-9500 (ext1).

Student ID Badges: In-Person First Week

Returning Po-Hi students should wear his/her student ID from last year on the first days of school.

New student IDs for the 2020-2021 school year will be issued in the first week of school.

The first student ID is provided by Ponca City High School. There is a $5 charge for replacement IDs.

Students need IDs for school safety, lunch, and access to school services.

Purchases: Online

For all school purchases, access MySchoolBucks on the Ponca City Public Schools website (link below).

Example items: Student Council spirit shirts, Cat Tale Yearbooks.

Create an account to log in. Go to School Store, filter by category (High School). Here you will find school fees or items available to purchase at PO-HI.

LUNCH: Balances and payments for student meals may be made in MySchoolBucks. Free and Reduced lunch applications will be available from Child Nutrition.

School Issued Face Covering Pick-up:

In-Person, Drive-Thru 8/12/20

PCPS has provided a face covering for each student.

Po-Hi is distributing student face coverings on August 12, 2020 in the west parking lot, off Fifth Street. Distribution groups are scheduled according to student last names below. Please drive into the faculty lot, pull up to the main
entrance, and a school employee will assist you.

● Last names beginning with A-Go will pick-up 8:00 – 10:00 a.m.
● Last names beginning with Gr-O will pick-up 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
● Last names beginning with P-Z will pick-up 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
● Make-up for all letter groups will pick-up 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Parking Registration/Stickers: In-Person 8/13

Sophomore, Junior, and Senior students who drive to school must complete the parking registration form in the registration process through PowerSchool and pay a $10 fee in MySchoolBucks.

August 13, 2020 from 9am to 11am and 1pm to 3pm: Those who register and pay through PowerSchool and MySchoolBucks will only need to drive into the faculty lot, pull up to the main entrance, provide identification and proof of payment. *Students who cannot pay online may bring a check or cash for $10 and proof of insurance for the vehicle. The registration form will be provided.

Parent signature is required.

Chromebooks: In-Person First Week

Incoming freshmen and new students to Po-Hi who chose district option 1 will be issued a Chromebook in the first week of school. (If you still have a Chromebook from East Middle School it must be turned in prior to being
issued another Chromebook).

Students who need to replace a charger or have damage to the Chromebook should complete the google form link below.
