Sober Brothers, Inc. of Ponca City has entered an agreement with the City of Ponca City to make an emergency repair to a storm sewer culvert on Pecan Road approximately one-half mile north of Lake Road.
Work is set to begin on Thursday, August 13, 2026. Estimated time to complete the repairs is two days with anticipated completion by the end of the day on Friday, August 14, 2026. During the project, the southbound lane of Pecan Road will be closed through the construction zone. Signing and barricades will be in place informing motorists of the construction. There will also be flagmen directing traffic while the work is ongoing.
