The habitats will support native pollinators, birds, plants, and other species in Grady, Logan, Oklahoma, and Tulsa counties.
The grant program is open to residents, businesses, schools, and parks.
The grant will award $525 per 100 square feet of habitat. Projects must be a minimum of 100 square feet to a maximum of 1,000 square feet.
Eligible projects must be free of inorganic or potentially harmful pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides.
Applications for the grant open July 1, and the deadline to apply is August 2.
Grant recipients will be announced September 1.
Projects must be completed by October 31. Grant funds will be distributed in November and December.
