WAGONER COUNTY, Okla. –

A Wagoner County Judge has set the trial date for Sept. 8 for Kore Bommeli, who is charged with killing her roommate, Talina Galloway, six years ago.

Prosecutors say Bommeli killed Galloway, then cut her up, put her in a freezer and dumped her in rural Arkansas.

Jury selection will begin on Sept. 8, and the trial is expected to last three weeks.

APRIL 2026: BOMMELI EXTRADITED FROM WISCONSIN

Bommeli was brought back to Wagoner County from Wisconsin back in April of this year.

Bommeli had been in Wisconsin since 2023. She was convicted there last June of attempted murder in a 2014 case, and she was sentenced to 25 years in prison, which she is currently serving.

That case happened because during the Oklahoma murder investigation, Wagoner County investigators uncovered evidence that Bommeli had tried to kill her neighbors in Wisconsin using homemade ricin.

2021 WAGONER COUNTY CASE

In her Wagoner County case, Bommeli was charged with murder in 2021 after her roommate, Talina Galloway, went missing.

Investigators say Bommeli filed a missing persons report in 2020—then, 8 months later, Galloway was found dismembered in a freezer in rural Arkansas.

Wagoner County prosecutors spent months getting Bommeli extradited back to Oklahoma to face her murder charge, and as part of the agreement with Wisconsin, prosecutors here must get the murder trial done within six months.

Once Bommeli’s trial is wrapped up here, she will be sent back to Wisconsin to finish her sentence there.
