• It’s wilder than a rodeo; it’s funnier than a circus! It’s Donkey Basketball!
• This doubleheader donkey extravaganza will be at the Newkirk High School Gym on Friday, April 10th. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and games at 7:00 p.m. Sponsored by the Newkirk 4-H and FFA Livestock Booster Club. A Championship playoff game between the winning teams will determine this year’s champion!
• Real, live donkeys—specially selected for Donkey Basketball—will be used for this fantastic show! See “Widow Maker”, and other world-famous comedy donkeys! 500 pounds of pure dynamite!
They are rough and tough and hard to bluff and haven’t been ridden yet!
FREE donkey rides for kids during halftime
• Watch the FFA Chapters of Newkirk, Ponca City, South Haven, and the Newkirk Fire Department try to dribble, shoot, and mostly just hang on while the donkeys make their own game plan!
Concessions will be available—including crowd favorites like calf fries
1st Game: Newkirk FFA vs South Haven, KS FFA
2nd Game: Ponca City FFA vs Newkirk Fire Department, followed by a championship game!
