PCPS: October 29, 2020 – Back to Class!

Mike Seals - October 28, 2020 8:50 pm

MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT:

As of 6:30 Wednesday evening, all Ponca City Public School sites have power, except Wildcat Academy.
Ponca City Public Schools WILL BE IN SESSION tomorrow, Thursday, October 29.
In addition to academic instruction, we have many students who need two hot meals and warmth because their homes have not had power.
The safety and well-being of our students is our top priority.
The City is working around the clock to restore power and city leaders are keeping me well-informed. IF the power at Wildcat Academy is not restored by morning, Mrs. Streeter and the staff at Wildcat Academy will reach out to students with instructions.
This ice storm has certainly been an interesting weather event in October! We do live in Oklahoma, so if something changes overnight, I will inform you prior to 5:30 AM.
We look forward to seeing our students tomorrow!
Shelley Arrott, PCPS Superintendent
