Spring Sports Bash set for Feb. 28

This year’s Spring Sports bash will be Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 5 p.m. at the baseball field, similar to last year’s format.

Ahtletic Director Jared Freeman said student athletes participating in a spring sport will be introduced, and then the evening will finish with a scrimmage on the baseball field.

Teams and coaches are set to arrive at 4:45 p.m. and are asked to wear team uniforms or school colors.

At  5 p.m., Bob Banta will introduce the National Anthem.  The Po-Hi Fight Song will be played throughout evening.

After the opening ceremony, teams will be introduced. Cheer will be introduced by Ashley Campbell; Hi Steppers by Kristin Smith; Soccer by Marcello Aguilar and Ben Steichen; Golf by Bill Stinson and CJ Thurber; Tennis by Brad Larimer and Larry Williams; Track by Lee Guess; and Baseball by Drew Burris.

Following introductions there will be a baseball scrimmage.

In case of inclement weather, the event will move indoors to Robson Fieldhouse and the baseball scrimmage portion of the event will be eliminated.
