NEWKIRK – Sources have confirmed that the Kay County Courthouse in Newkirk on Friday Afternoon ruled that Luis Frias, a man who murdered his wife Janett Reyna in Blackwell in August 2013, has received life without parole and an additional 10 years for Conspiracy to commit murder. Reyna’s friend Monique Hudson said from the stands in the Courthouse to Frias that he is her motivation to keep women safe from monsters such as him. District Attorney Brian Hermanson said that Frias has no chance of leaving the prison walls surrounding him. Frias was arrested in Mexico back on February 6, and was brought back to Oklahoma after being obtained at the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport on February 7.
