Woman, girl and dog rescued at Lake Tenkiller

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a report of a pickup in the water at Lake Tenkiller early Wednesday afternoon.

An adult female, juvenile female and a dog were reported inside the vehicle, off SH82 at the Cherokee/Sequoyah county line at Cato Creek on Tenkiller lake .

All occupants in the pickup were safely rescued. A private citizen in a pontoon boat was able to assist prior to lake patrol arrival. A wrecker service is enroute to retrieve the vehicle.
