Woman arrested in exploitation case

A Ponca City woman was arrested Wednesday on complaints of exploitation of the elderly and exploitation by a caretaker.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled today for Rebecca Hawkins, 55, in Kay County District Court.
The alleged victim is the woman’s mother. Bond was set at $20,000.
