Wind advisory in effect for Monday

The National Weather Service in Norman, Oklahoma, has issued a wind advisory which will be in effect until 7 p.m. Monday.

Winds will be from the south to southwest from 25 to 35 mph, with gusts to 45 mph, the National Weather Service predicts.

Cities included in the advisory include Ponca City, Blackwell, Perry, Guthrie, Stillwater, Anadarko, Hinton, Yukon, Concho, El Reno, Mustang, Oklahoma City, Chandler, Stroud, Prague, Meeker, Davenport and Wellston.

A wind advisory means that winds of at least 35 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
