Wildcats Fourth Win of the Season

Ponca City Wildcats Football have their fourth win of the season by beating Sand Springs Sandites 24-14 Thursday night. It was a very big win on the road, the first one at Sand Springs since 2005. Wildcats are now 4-3 on the season and 2-2 in district play.

Scoring came in the  first quarter from Kyter Welch running a touchdown after Eli Wohl ran 42 yards on the play before, after a Travaughn Tipton interception prior. Spencer Ball had the P.A.T.  Sam McKinney had a touchdown run with Ball getting another P.A.T. Ball also kicked a field goal to make it 17-0 right before halftime. Justin Andrews scored a touchdown and Ball had another P.A.T. to make the final score 24-14 with 4:11 left in fourth quarter.
