Wacky Golf Tournament set for May 19

Ponca City Now - May 1, 2018 4:21 pm

The Ponca City Charity Angel Ambucs are hosting a Wacky Golf tournament on Saturday, May 19 at Wentz Golf Course.

Tee time is 9 a.m. This will be an 18-hole, scramble format tournament with two-person teams.

As a twist on traditional golf, there will be challenge activities on all of the par 3 and par 4 holes, while par 5 holes will play as normal.

Examples of some of the challenges will be to play the entire hole with the same club, hit the tee shot off a baseball tee with a baseball bat, putt using a club like a pool cue, and even a slingshot drive hole.

Cost is $120 per two-man team and includes cart, green fees, lunch and two beverage tickets.

Proceeds benefit the Charity Angel Ambucs in their mission of creating mobility and independence for people with disabilities.
