Video of Pennington’s mission trip to air Friday afternoon

Ponca City Schools Superintendent Dr. David Pennington is participating in a mission to build a school in the Dominican Republic.

He will be there through Feb. 3.

Students and members of the public can see a live video of Pennington’s experiences at 2 p.m. Friday.

Participants in the Lifetouch Memory Mission will hold two-way conversations with their home schools or offices using Google Hangouts. In addition to hearing their personal experiences, viewers will be able to see the surroundings and construction site.

Two classes from East Middle School, two classes from West Middle School, one class at Roosevelt Elementary, and one class at Lincoln Elementary will participate in the district’s Live Google Hangout.
