*UPDATE* Arrests Made in Recent Murder in Ponca City
Ponca City Police Department - April 14, 2022 11:16 pm
On April 10, at approximately 4:54 PM officers responded to 350 S. Birch in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival officers found Shawn Wood, 29 year old W/M, inside the residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Wood was transported to Alliance Health in Ponca City. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Ponca City Police have arrested the following people who were involved in this incident:
*Joseph Greyhawk Delano Howe, 19 year old, I/M
*Martha (Lisa) Yahola, 35 year old, I/F
Howe has been charged with 1st Degree Murder and Possession of a Firearm after a former felony conviction. His bond has been set at $1,000,000.
Yahola has been charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder. Her bond was set at $250,000.
Police initially sought and arrested 30-year-old Logan Peters along with Yahola. Peters is currently not charged in this case.
The investigation is ongoing.
