Two killed in Beckham County collision

SAYRE, Okla. (AP) – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says two people were killed when a tractor trailer rig and a pickup truck collided in western Oklahoma.

The collision occurred about 11 p.m. Wednesday on State Highway 152 west of Sayre and led to the closing of the highway for seven hours with traffic being diverted onto Beckham County roads. The highway was reopened about 6 a.m.

The OHP did not immediately release details of the collision and no names were released.
