Authorities have released the names of a man killed and another wounded in an explosion at a salt water disposal site in northern Oklahoma.

The incident happened southwest of Enid on Monday night.

The Enid News & Eagle reports the Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s Office says the deceased is 32-year-old Javier Varraza, and blunt force head trauma was the cause of death.

Acting Garfield County Sheriff Jody Helm says the injured man is Randall Fite. He was moved to the Oklahoma University’s Medical Center and is listed in good condition. Both men are from out of state.

Helm says a crew was working on top of a tank with a propane torch and a man lift, which triggered a blast.
