Thunder Face Sixers Friday Night

A welcome return to the Chesapeake Energy Arena for the Oklahoma City Thunder comes after just a one-game road trip that did not go well in Indiana.

OKC got throttled on Tuesday night when the Pacers beat the Thunder 111-85.

Tuesday also marked the third time this season Danilo Gallinari led the Thunder in scoring. OKC is 1-2 in those games. The newcomer had 14. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 11.

Gilgeous-Alexander led the team in rebounds with 6. It is a head-scratcher for the Thunder that its guard position could out-rebound its front court.

OKC (4-7) returns home in time to play the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night. The Sixers (7-4) enter the game as the No. 5 seed in the East while the Thunder has slipped to the No. 11 spot in the West.
