Four injured at Pecan Road and SH 11

Ponca City emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle accident at 9:36 p.m. Monday at Pecan Road and State Highway 11.

Four people were reported injured in the accident.

Air Evac was notified to send two helicopters. One was sent to the scene for transport and the second sent to Alliance Health Ponca City.

One patient was transferred to Air Evac from the accident by Ponca City Emergency Medical Service Ambulance, and two other ambulances transported  patients to Alliance Health in critical condition.

Ten Ponca City Police units also responded to the scene, along with rescue and command vehicles.

The scene was turned over to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol for investigation after patients were transported. OHP has not yet released a report on the accident.
