Tax preparers available at library starting Feb. 1

AARP Tax preparers will be at the library starting February 1. The AARP will be available when the library opens at 9:00 am, MONDAY through THURSDAY each week. Please ask library staff for more information. Things to remember to bring:
- All income documents
- Last year’s tax forms and this year’s tax forms
- W-2, W-2G, 1099 (misc. SSA. etc.)
- Schedule A long form – itemize Medical bills (DR., Rx, Etc.)
- Real estate tax receipt
- Mortgage interest
- Donation (church, charity, etc.)
- Photo Identification: Driver’s License, Military ID, Passport
- Social Security Card (must have for everybody on return)
- Other Documents
- 1098-E (Student Loan Interest),
- 1098-T (Tuition Statements),
- Daycare Expense (must have provider’s name, address, & EIN)
