PCPS retuning to class Tuesday

Students attending Ponca City Public Schools will return to in-person learning today. This includes ALL school sites, even those closed last week for distance learning.Based upon numbers, the district will have 88 fewer staff members out on Tuesday compared to Friday’s number of 142.

Less than 350 new COVID-19 cases reported Tuesday

The Oklahoma State Department of Health documented 345 new COVID-19 cases for Tuesday, November 16. Oklahoma has seen 655,857 COVID-19 cases since early 2020 as there are currently 7,022 active cases, which over 200 less than the amount for Tuesday. Missing Ponca City girl found Tuesday

A Red Alert is no longer in effect for Lorraine Morningstar Torres of Ponca City since she's been found. Torres went missing on October 7th after being at her aunt's house in Ponca City. 12 days later on October 19, MMIP of Northern Oklahoma Indian Territory shared the news that she was found.

Four arrests made at one home by PCPD Tuesday

Ponca City police served a search warrant at 5:32 p.m. Tuesday at 812 west Oklahoma that ended with four arrests.Det.
