*UPDATE*   On Sunday, April 10 at approximately 4:54 p.m., officers responded to 350 S. Birch in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival officers found Shawn Wood, 29 year old W/M, inside the residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Wood was transported to Alliance Health in Ponca City. Ponca City police Sgt. Jeff Woodward reports that shooting suspect 32-year-old Anthony Falanga Jr has been arrested. Falnga was taken into custody just after 6:45 Tuesday evening. Falanga is facing felony charges of shooting or discharging a firearm with intent to kill and assault with a dangerous weapon while facing a $1 million bond.Read More.
