Sanitation truck catches fire Monday

A sanitation truck caught on fire around 12:30 p.m. Monday at Highland and 14th in front of the Pioneer Woman in Ponca City. The Ponca City Fire Department was on scene and got the fire extinguished. No injuries were reported. Photos are credited to the City of Ponca City.

Kildare Fire Department hosting Fish Fry

The Kildare Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting a Fish Fry Sunday, Oct. 10 from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. or until supplies last at Kildare's Fire Station. This meal is by donation, suggested donation of $5 a person. The money raised will go towards general operations of the fire department.

Ponca City father of six dead after house fire Friday night

One Ponca City man is dead after his home went up in flames Friday night. According to KFOR-TV, 31-year-old Matthew Nuttle was pulled out from the burning home after midnight on Friday.
