According to the weekly epidemiology report on Wednesday, OSDH reported a total of 14,793 COVID-19 cases between August 15-21. The Oklahoma State Department of Health documented 1,794 new COVID-19 cases for Tuesday, August 24. Oklahoma's seen 532,388 COVID-19 cases overall as 20,231 cases are active. Ponca City Public Schools wants to remind parents to not send their kids to school if they're waiting on COVID-19 test results. If there's a positive case in the home, do not send your child to school and please contact your site principal.
