Ponca City Now - August 29, 2016 12:39 pm

A suspect has been arrested in the death of Je'Juan Resean Samuel, 25, who was found dead Sunday morning in Marland near State Highway 156.

District 8 District Attorney Brian Hermanson said Monday that Wayne Lee DeLodge, 44, was arrested Sunday night in Shawnee and now is in the Noble County jail.

Hermanson said investigators are waiting for a final determination on the cause of death, but it appears Samuel was struck multiple times by a two-by-four in the body, arms and skull.

Noble County District Court has received an affidavit in the case and has ruled there is probable cause in detaining DeLodge. His bail is set at $1 million.
