Student Council dedicates Po-Hi Luminaries to Paul Ingersol

Ponca City Now - December 10, 2019 3:22 pm

The Po-Hi Student Council invites the Ponca City community to drive by the front lawn of the high school on Overbrook Avenue between 6 and 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, to enjoy the beautiful Christmas Luminaries.

The Student Council has been decorating the front lawn of the high school for the Christmas season since 1967.

“We would like to dedicate this 52nd year of luminaries to Mr. Paul Ingersol,” Student Council Sponsor Betsy Easley said. “Many of you know PI. He was a devoted teacher, counselor, assistant principal, and Student Council adviser at Po-Hi for many years. PI has been under the weather for the past few weeks and probably won’t be able to drive by this year to enjoy the lights, but we are thinking of him!”
