Storywalk in the Park kick-off set for May 15

Ponca City Now - April 25, 2019 11:52 am

The Ponca City Library invites everyone to be a part of the Storywalk in the Park kick-off
celebration on May 15, 2019, at Cann Gardens.

There will be a small ceremony at 11 a.m. and the first walk-through of the Storywalk. Afterwards, the Garden Club will serve lunch and a variety of activities will take place throughout the Cann Gardens through 12:30 p.m.

Lunch will be provided by Garden Council, as long as supplies last, so please RSVP to the Library if attending.

StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for children — and adults! — to enjoy reading and the
outdoors at the same time. Laminated pages from a children’s book are attached to wooden stakes, which
are installed along an outdoor path. As you stroll down the trail, you’re directed to the next page in the story.
