Storm Damage: Trees Knocked Over, Power Cut Off, Roofs Lifted Across State

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) – Oklahomans across the state were hit with power outages and downed trees as severe weather moved through the state Sunday night.

Damaging winds caused downed trees and a gas leak near 24th Ave Southeast and Highway 9 in Norman.

Norman Police report there are multiple roads closed due to downed power lines and debris in south/east Norman.

Winds also caused damage in Garfield County. No injuries were reported.

OG&E urges Oklahomans to stay away from downed power lines and anything they are touching. Report a downed power line by calling 800-552-6870.
