Stolen checks passed a year after theft; suspect wanted

Team Radio Marketing Group - January 4, 2018 2:10 pm

A year ago, on Dec. 30, 2016, while she was shopping at Stage on North 14th Street in Ponca City, a woman had her purse stolen. She reported the theft to Ponca City Police, to her bank and credit card companies.

On Dec. 28, 2017, the suspect pictured in surveillance picture paid for a purchase using a check at the Valero located at Fourth Street and South Avenue. That check was inside the purse stolen from the woman at Stage a year earlier.

The same suspect passed another one of the stolen checks at the Valero at Second Street and Highland Avenue.

If you have any information regarding the suspect pictured in the surveillance picture that passed the stolen check, please contact the Ponca City Area Crime Stoppers at 762-5100 or 767-0370.
