Stillwater Teacher Arrested

Cpt. Kyle Gibbs, the Public Information officer for the Stillwater Police Department, has issued the following news release:
On May 19, 2020, 27-year-old Alberto Morejon was arrested for lewd proposals to a minor.
On May 12, 2020, a concerned parent contacted the Stillwater Police Department regarding their minor child’s relationship with a former teacher.
An investigation was begun and the case transferred to the Criminal Investigations Division for further follow-up.
The suspect was contacting the victim through electronic means. During the course of the investigation, the suspect was identified as a current Stillwater Public Schools employee.
On May, 19, 2020, Detectives arrested Morejon for lewd proposals to a minor. The case is being presented to the Payne County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
