Stillwater man dies in accident

A Stillwater man was killed in an accident Saturday morning at the intersection of Airport Road and Fairgrounds, about 3 miles north and 1 mile east of Stillwater in Payne County.

The Highway Patrol said Drew Farrow Jr., 34, of Stillwater, was pronounced dead at the scene from head and trunk injuries. His body was transported by Palmer-Marler Funeral home for the Medical Examiner.

A passenger, 29-year-old Amber J. Farrow, of Glenco, was transported by Life Net ambulance to Stillwater Medical Center, where she was treated and released.

A second passenger, Aleshia D. Graham, 35, of Stillwater, was transported by Life Net ambulance to OU Medical Center in critical condition. She was admitted for head, trunk, arm and leg injuries.

The Highway Patrol reported Farrow was eastbound on Airport Road and failed to stop at the stop sign at Fairground and went through a fence, striking trees and an embankment before rolling into a creek and coming to rest on its top. He was ejected about 10 feet from the point of impact.
