Standing Bear Pow Wow begins today

The 22nd Annual Standing Bear Pow Wow begins today. The two-day event is held at Standing Bear Park 601 Standing Bear Parkway.
Gourd dancing begins at 5 p.m. today with the Grand Entry scheduled for 7 pm. Contest and intertribal dancing will continue throughout the evening.
On Saturday, gourd dancing begins at 1 p.m. with the Grand Entry scheduled for 7 p.m. Again, contest and tribal dancing will continue throughout the evening.
There will be food vendors both days as well as arts and craft vendors.
The public is invited and there is free admission and f ree parking.
