SAN ANTONIO (AP) – Riquna Williams set a WNBA record with 51 points to help the Tulsa Shock rout the San Antonio Silver Stars 98-65 yesterday. The second-year guard out of Miami surpassed the previous record of 47 points set by Phoenix’s Diana Taurasi. Williams was 17 for 28 from the field and hit eight 3-pointers for Tulsa.

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) – The University of Oklahoma volleyball team has taken a 3-2 win over No. 25 BYU in the PSU Tournament. The Sooners improved to 6-1 on the season with Saturday’s win. The Cougars fell to 4-3. The win was the first for OU over a ranked opponent since defeating No. 25 Kansas State in the regular season finale in November.

SHAWNEE, Okla. (AP) – The St. Gregory’s University men’s soccer team surrendered a late goal and fell 2-1 to Tabor College in its home opener. The Cavaliers went flat in a second half Saturday that saw the visitors break a 1-1 tie with a goal in the 73rd minute. It was the second time in the last three years SGU has dropped its home opener to the Bluejays.
