The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has identified Ian Shea King, 31, as the man shot and killed by Ponca City officers Wednesday morning.

King assaulted a delivery man at the Valero store in the 300 block of West Grand Avenue with a Japanese sword known as a Katana. He then confronted officers with that weapon when they arrived to investigate the assault on the delivery man.

Officials say the delivery driver was transported to Alliance Health Ponca City with non-life-threatening injuries.
