Ponca City Now - March 24, 2015 8:58 am

Several projects in Ponca City are making progress, City Manager Craig Stephenson said Monday during the City Commission hearing.

Stephenson said about 100 cubic yards of concrete will be poured today for the deck on the Turkey Creek Bridge. The deck has been formed and steel placement is complete.

The remainder of the week will be spent excavating for the wing walls and placing the form work for the wing walls.

Completion date for the bridge is set for May 1.

He said the 10 homes in the Hampton Heights addition are moving quickly with their construction. The roof decking is on all the houses and shingles are going on.

And the Charles D. Lamb Energy Center, being constructed on Highway 11, will be dedicated June 19. The facility is located at 4250 West Doolin Ave. in Ponca City, Stephenson said.
