Senator Mullin secures $55M grant for Oklahoma public school resource center

On Thursday, U.S. Senator Markwayne Mullin announced that the Oklahoma Public School Resource Center has been selected to receive 55 million dollars in grant funding over the next five years through the U.S. Department of Education’s Charter School Program Grant, allowing continued growth of quality charter schools in Oklahoma.

“Offering high-quality education options for the next generation is the most significant action we can take for the future of our state,” said Sen. Mullin. “As the father of six wonderful children, I know firsthand the importance of ensuring our educators have the tools they need to best meet our children’s individualized needs. I’m confident Oklahoma Public School Resource Center will use this grant to support new and expanding institutions to meet the unique needs of Oklahoma students and their families. The next generation of Oklahomans is worth fighting for, and I’m proud to have played a part in securing this federal funding opportunity.”
